It's free, it's virtual, and you'll get tons of useful insight from colleagues across the industry.

What you can expect

In the last year, we’ve facilitated over 4,000,000 bookings for 65 recycling centres. In that time, we've picked up a few useful tips that we'd like to share with you.

In this webinar, we'll be sharing data-backed tips that will help you leverage booking tech, ANPR cameras, and other operational systems to increase site efficiency, cut costs, and improve the visitor experience.

You'll also hear from several guest speakers who have used technology to transform how their authorities manage waste disposal.
The webinar will be broadcast using Microsoft Teams at 11 am on Thursday the 16th of December.
You can book your place in less than 20 seconds, and you'll be able to join by clicking the link in your confirmation email.
The talk will be hosted by bookinglab CEO Chad Duggan, who will be joined by: Steve Ford, Operations Manager at Western Riverside Waste Authority and Nichola Hood, Waste Business Partnership Manager at Kent County Council.

What we'll be talking about

In part one, we'll be comparing the usage of technology across the community pre-and-post-pandemic. We'll be using data to analyse the performance of 65 sites to give you an insight into the differences between these periods and what this might mean for the future.

In part two, Steve Ford, Operations Manager at Western Riverside Waste Authority, will be sharing how they've saved taxpayers over £200,000 a year and eliminated queues (which, at times, tailed back over half a mile).

Nichola Hood, Waste Business Partnership Manager at Kent County Council, will then be sharing how they've increased site efficiency and achieved a 95% visitor satisfaction rate across 18 sites.

In part three, you'll get the chance to ask questions and interact with us, our guest speakers, and other members of our waste management community.

So, in just 60-minutes, you'll find out how to:

Reduce wasted capacity and improve planning
Better understand your service
Reduce recycling-related traffic congestion
Increase site efficiency and improve planning

Improve the visitor experience
Stop service misuse and cut costs
